Hydraulic Motors, Hydraulic Motor

Albroco Limited specializes in slow speed, high torque motors, commonly known as Gerotor motors. These hydraulic motors have a rolling rotor within a stator which contains one more lobe than the rotor. This typically provides a 6 to 1 gear ratio without the need for an extra gearbox. As a consequence, for example, they provide a very economical solution for wheel drives. Gerotor motors originated in the USA and were normally specified with Imperial measurements. When they were introduced into Europe, they were Metricised. Albroco offers a complete range of Imperial (SAE) and Metric Motors, usually from stock.
